Happy Friday!!!  I missed the last Cameo Creations challenge! (It was the first one I missed :(  )  Anyhoo, I am bound and determined not to miss this one. :)  Even though, my mom is still in the hospital, I found time to make this little Lantern to give to my son's teacher for Halloween. :)  I purchased the Cobweb Pumpkin Lantern from the Silhouette Store online for $0.99!  How cool is that!
Hope you like my project!  I know I sure do!  And my son does!  He said, "Mommy, will you make me one too?"  I think I may just have to do that since it only took a few minutes!  WOO HOO!!! My favorite kind of project!

Cameo Creations Challenge #12

I made this card as a thank you card to a parent of my students who came to help me grade papers last Friday!  I love those parents!!!!  TOO SWEET!  And it is ever so helpful!!!!  I used my Cameo to cut the Pencil shaped card (www.myscrapchick.com) with all the letters.  Then I inked up the edges with my Colorbox ink pads. Thanks to my friend, Ana, who did an amazing video to help us learn to shade in our projects to add depth. (www.shortcreations.blogspot.com)  Well, I hope you like my card.  I am still getting used to my Cameo and these challenges keep me motivated to at least make one thing using it every 2 weeks. hehehe  Thank you Monica for taking the time to do these challenges!

Cameo Creations Challenge #12---Sketch Challenge

This Cameo Creations Challenge is a sketch challenge.  Head on over to www.monicascreativemadness.com to see the sketch for yourself. :)  Here is what I came up with.  BTW, I fit this in between doing a community project, visiting my mom in the hospital, grading spelling test and other papers, playing Power Ranger with swords with my son, and doing our grocery shopping today!  Hip Hip Hooray, for me! hehehehe  What a busy day!  But I did manage to fit in just a little bit of crafting time for me! :)
I used the rectangle maker on my Cameo for the layers.  Then I used a Scallop file from, Skraptastical Kreations (www.skraptasticalkreations.com) for the scalloped rectangle.  I used the Swirly from the Silhouette store files that came with my Cameo.  And I used flowers from Michale's dollar bin.  Oh, and I musn't forget, My Creative Time's Stamp from her stamp set, Gift Card Sentiments. (www.creativetimeforme.com)  I haven't missed a Cameo Creations Challenge yet! :)

Dilo En Español Challenge for AGOSTO

Okay, so nothing I have is in Spanish.  But being that my son is starting a dual immersion class in a few weeks, I decided to enter anyway. hehehe  I need to get in the habit of thinking in Spanish. :)  Afterall, I do understand quite a bit of it.  But just don't have the confidence to speak it.  You would think that after four years of college Spanish, I'd feel a bit more confident....that is why my husband and I want my son to grow up bilingual!  He won't know anything different!  Yeah!!!!  So anyway, here is my SCHOOL project!  It holds a special Tootsie Pop Treat inside!  Who won't need that on the first day, right?

All stamps were My Creative Time Stamps.....www.creativetimeforme.com  And I used the Lollipop die from My Creative Time too!

Cameo Creations Challenge

I made this super simple card for the Cameo Creations Challenge over at www.monicascreativemadness.com  Even though I am SUPER busy preparing for my new class I had to take a few minutes to enter this challenge.  I haven't missed one yet. :)  It forces me to use my Cameo! :)  Love it!  I used the Skraptastical Kreations file, Summer Lovin'.  www.skraptasticalkreations.com  I also used Echo Park Hello Summer Paper Pack.  And random ribbon from my stash. :)  Hope you like it. :)

The challenge is to create anything with a sports theme.  So I created a card for our coach.  Well, actually, he isn't our coach.  Since our coach rarely shows up......hehehehe  He is volunteering his time with our Little T-Ball Players.  And we soooo appreciate him.  So it was a perfect challenge for me! :)  And it forced me to use my Silhouette Cameo.  Of course, I already forgot how to print and cut a digital stamp so I had to watch Monica's video tutorial (www.monica'screativemadness.com)  a few times.  hehehehe

Cameo Creations Easter Blog Hop

Recipe:
Animal Owl Card by Silhouette Store
Creative Memories Cardstock (www.mycmsite.com/georgifelix1 )

Okay, well it's not all that Eastery, is it?  I needed to make my pals at work a thank you card for letting my little man sit in on their Kindergarten classes today.  L.T. had a blast hanging out with the Kindergartners at our school.  And I so appreciate my two pals, Vicki and Margie for allowing him to see what Kindergarten is all about!!!  When I asked him if he like it, he replied, "Kindergarten is A LOT OF WORK, mom!"   hehehehe

Since my mom has been in the hospital and I have been running back and forth.....I made an Easter card for my mom and one for the nurses, but I forgot to take a pic of it to enter into this contest.  So, just so I don't get out of the habit of using my Cameo....I decided to use this owl Thank you Card. :)  I hope no one minds.  Monica can take me out of the drawing for the prize. :)  Just wanted to participate in something crafty for the first time in over a week!!! :)
Happy Wednesday!
Hugs,
Georgi
